Liberal papers caught in Obama's Webb

In 2006 The "unbiased" Washington Post ran 112 articles/editorials featuring or mentioning “macaca” from August until the November election. Despite admitting that the sources were hearsay second and third hand tales from Democrat partisans the Post ran story after story accusing George Allen of racist comment and actions from at least 30 years prior. No direct witnesses came forward; no new evidence was brought up, and no corroborating evidence from the time of the events. In an interview (an INTERVIEW!?) with Washington Post reporter Libby Copeland Jim Webb lamented that “Towel-heads and rednecks” were unfairly portrayed as villains in movies. I’ll assume the redneck label applied to Webb’s heritage. Webb later called the reporter to do damage control, but he needn’t have worried. The Post was firmly in Webb’s corner. The Post is delivered to the Northern VA area which includes Fairfax County. In 2006 Fairfax County alone had a population of over 1,000,000. Allen lost by less than 8,000 out of more than 2,300,000 votes swinging the senate from Republican control to the Democrats.   That is why when I refer to him it is always Jim Webb (D-WaPo).

To his credit in 2004 Barack Obama said he didn’t want his presumptive GOP opponent’s (Jack Ryan) sealed divorce records to be an issue in the upcoming campaign. Of course he could say that knowing it was pretty much a done deal. The Chicago Tribune and WGL-TV had already sued to unseal the records. For what exactly were they looking? They didn’t know. All they knew was someone who had seen the records said there was dirt. So now either a partisan liberal California judge was going to unseal the records or he was going to respect the wishes of both Jeri and Jack Ryan who wished to protect their then nine year-old son. To liberal reporters (almost an oxymoron) dirt on conservatives is like crack; unlike dirt on liberals which is like payroll tax cuts to a Kennedy. A sex “scandal” involving a husband’s unusual request to his own wife, is revealed and Jack Ryan steps aside. Over a month later non Illinois resident Alan Keyes takes the GOP slot and is trounced by Obama in the general election three months later. While Obama may have won without their help The Tribune ensured a Democrat would take the place of a retiring Republican senator.

One liberal paper deliberately changes the outcome of a United States Senate race and destroys the presidential aspirations of the GOP nominee.

Another liberal paper locks out another GOP nominee ensuring a Democrat victory and destroying another aspiring young Republican.

Two liberal newspapers swing the balance of power in the United States Senate, the most powerful half of the legislative branch of the most powerful country the world has ever seen.

Now the entire liberal media has abandoned the mantle of objective reporting to practically campaign for one candidate over another and Helen Thomas STILL can’t see a liberal bias in the media.
